“You were trained to fight for your country. Now you’re being called to fight for your soul—not through war, but through embodiment, softness, and self-acceptance.”

This is a call to Veterans and First Responders who feel the itch for something new. Are you tired of living in the shadow of your old identity? Does your soul call you to something new? Sometimes in order to make peace with things we have done as Warriors needs a total death. We cannot flirt with change and expect life to be different. Taking your training and commitment to being a Warrior and turning it into self discipline can yield huge personal growth.

You have fiercely faced the shadows of war, now it’s perhaps time to fiercely face the shadows within. Did you learn to hate yourself? Did you learn to be hard on your body and your mind to complete the mission? Did you lose someone you loved and do not know how to make peace with that? Did you kill and are still haunted by taking another soul’s life?

This ceremonial space is designed to help face the inner landscape beyond what those who have not served will never understand. The trauma, the pain, the anger, the loss of compassion for yourself, the sheer terror of being killed, the guilt, the nervous system instability, fight or flight. Those are just some of the things we as Veterans face.

I had all the conventional therapy and still got to the space of writing a suicide note. I have been in that dark void, my dear Brother or Sister. My invitation is compassion and understanding to it all. To hold you until your mission of just surviving is complete. Time for you to start living again. We will face it all together until you understand yourself better. You do not kill the Warrior, you repurpose its strength and commitment to something new. Only your soul knows what that is. This ceremonial space will help you discover it.

Remember the Soul is just a container for all your identities. When the Warrior becomes more peaceful and does not have to be the only identity, more of you can come through. Make peace with who you were, what you did and what you became because of it. That is your new mission.
